The president of SASA Dr Maite Manganye opened the conference and we received messages of support from National Archives and Records Service of South Africa, Library and Information Association of South Africa, and UNISA Library &amp; Information Services, Provincial Archives Advisory Council of Limpopo, Oral History Association of South Africa, and SASA Limpopo Chapter. The MEC: Limpopo Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Hon Jerry Maseko, represented by Dr Lucky Vuma delivered the keynote address.
